Welcome to the Geography Department Webpage!
The Geography Department is part of the Social Sciences Institute of the University of Minho. At present it runs:
– a Bachelor degree in Geography and Planning;
– a Bachelor degree in Civil Protection and Land Management;
– a Master degree in Geography with three specialization areas: Tourism and Territorial Communication; Geographic Information Systems; and Risks and Civil Protection;
– a PhD degree in Geography Doctoral degrees with four specialization areas: Human Geography; Physical Geography and Environmental Studies; Geography and Regional Planning; and Landscape Studies.
